the bit gallery

a digital art gallery containing 52.7 quadrillion 1 bit 8x8 art pieces with unique titles. use the search function to find specific pieces, or randomly go to new ones with the up arrow on the keyboard.

math enthusiasts might notice that 52.7 quadrillion is not the total amount of available 8x8 grid possibilities. in fact, because of the title system, only ~0.3% of the total possible images are viewable here, but it would still take like 1.6 billion years just to get through what is available, so i think it's a fine compromise.

this piece was more of a coding exercise than a real attempt at making a piece of software. enjoy, though.
